Kim Young-soo explores the fusion of the five senses and the beauty of coexistence in her exhibition introduction.
As humans, masters of all things, we navigate the seven senses of the mountains and seas through our five senses, experiencing the spectrum of emotions from joy to sorrow, happiness to misfortune.
Unfolding before us are the emotions that once had no place, now growing with insatiable desire. This insatiable craving eventually dissipates like foam, engulfing us in the waves of life.
Just as nature operates, with a balance of addition and subtraction, we can achieve harmony by opening and closing the door to our five senses, bridging the gap between heaven and earth.
In this envisioned world, distinctions between individuals fade away, allowing us to roam freely in a boundless existence.
Through the prism of tolerance and love, we invite the colors of the five senses into our being, envisioning a realm devoid of conflict where everyone can nurture their dreams.
